Hey Guys! We are Sondre and Tanya - a professional swing dance couple. Our partnership started in 2015. Since then we had been competing, teaching and performing boogie woogie all around Europe and outside of it. With great joy we used to travel to spread the love for swing dancing in general and boogie woogie in particular. We also started our own dance event called Boogie Feet's Festival in Dombås, Norway for inspiring and bringing up swing dancers from many different countries.
After the Great Change, as we call it, we have grown an online community to share our passion for dancing via modern means of communication

Tanya and Sondre danced to this song at three festivals - Crazy Boogie Weekend in Oslo, Norway, Taste of Boogie 7.0 in Italy, Konsum Leipzig Dance Festival 2024. Each of their performances to the tune of "Hold It" showcased their versatility and mastery of various boogie-woogie dance styles while promoting and supporting the Boogie Brothers and, of course, their music. I think the Boogie Brothers have Sondre and Tanya to thank for this commercial. Because their song "Hold It" has limited access on social media. Yes, her video posted on the Boogie Coasters RUclips channel on January 15, 2021, has only 273 views to date.

They did it all by dancing together, apart, incorporating traditional moves, so many more moves of their own making, and all to a great dance tune. Such grace and talent! If they have a dance coach, well done.) Everyone can dance like that in their hearts. It is so cool to see such youthful spirits. So very nicely put! They had a coach, their friend Eiric, some years ago when they began to compete, but as of now they create everything themselves, from choreo to costumes, RUclips and Snapchat, travel and teaching, website and Boogie Feets Festival, accounting and just being silly. Plus Tanya's a parent. Makes me dizzy, but, ah, youth! LOVED "everyone can dance like that in their hearts"! I know for me, world problems and ravages of age drop away when I watch them.

All the more, that was most gracious of you to share all you did because I had no idea. Moreover, you right. Issues of age and world problems truly fade when Sondre and Tanya take to the dance floor. Chivalry demands you are given the last word but, in this case, it is of greater importance to thank you for your reply.
@@FriarTuck777 I'm smiling!! Have been a jazz fan for decades; had mostly listened to late-forties up to current trends, but during Covid isolation I decided to learn about Lindy Hop era. WELL SIR! I clicked on a link to S&T's 2017 'Fly Me To The Moon' choreo....and as it's said, that was all she wrote, I fell in love with their dancing and pretty soon with them themselves. Now smiling AND with goose bumps, not even as a teenybopper was I a fan like this. And I just love it when someone else shares the same experience, for me it's expressed in the title of a tune they once performed to: "A New Love Has Been Discovered".....welcome and I wish you much joy if you're only beginning to explore their videos.
Sondre and Tanya are the kings of impromptu. They are creative. Watch "Sondre & Tanya's very first Boogie Woogie Norwegian Championship", where they showed off their skills, dancing together "officially" for the first time. Watch Tanja's confident entrance to the rhythm of "This Old House" by Brian Setzer. Even after Sondre's unexpected fall, the guys continued their incredibly difficult performance with a cascade of tricks that they came up with. The dance in this video was shown twice from different angles. Who came up with this fixation of their dance - the guys themselves or their coach Eirik - is not so important. The main thing is that we can see the actions of each partner in it. I think that with the nod at 0:56, Tanya, being a more experienced dancer who had previously participated in difficult psychological competitions, was encouraging Sondre. When I look at them, I smile, even when the siren is wailing in Kyiv, and outside the window there is smoke and fire from the downed missiles. And these are not beautiful words, but the reality of our yesterday and today. I am glad that Tanya and Sondre have viewers who are starting to study their videos. This is a wonderful initiative. From 31.05. to 2.06.2024, Sondre and Tanya taught and performed at the dance festival Konsum Leipzig 2024 in the beautiful Congress Hall. Next to the Congress Hall is the famous Leipzig Zoo, where you can admire exotic animals and plants. Sondre and Tanya showed interesting stories that happened during these days on their Snapchat page. It was interesting to watch how Sondre had a delicious dinner in his hotel bed on the first day after arriving in Leipzig. Or how Tanya frolicked on the playground of the Zoo or watched its inhabitants. You can enjoy watching the story called "Tanya made a new friend". The visit to the Zoo took place during a break between morning and evening classes in groups with different levels of boogie-woogie dancing. It was interesting to see moments of training that Tanya did on different days. But what interested me most was the footage of Tanya and Sondre's performance at the gala show "Night of the Dancing Stars". It's great that very soon we will see a full presentation of this performance to the music of "Hold It" by the Boogie Brothers.
